This month Miss Margo hosted girls brunch and made it Tea Party themed! It was pretty wonderful. Full of girls chattin’, crumpets, tiny sandwiches, and of course… TEA.
This is lovely.

Ok, who out there in the blog-o-sphere is sick of this gloomy Los Angeles weather? For all of you lovely LA ladies that have been dreaming about grabbing a drink oceanside and sinking your toes into the sand, this post is for you!
Being a girl, for the most part, is a pain in the tush. Between hair maintenance, waxing this, and filing that….we spend a good part of our day primping. The upkeep is a pain, but I know that if there is one thing I never skimp on, it is foot maintenance. And to be honest, at the end of the day, what is more relaxing and effortless than a good pedicure!
Every two weeks you can find me lounging in a massage chair, while the ladies at Toe Heaven (found on Main Street in Santa Monica) pamper me. For $20.00 and an hour of your time, you are given a heavenly spa pedi and mani. A great price for a great service!
So now that you have the location….it’s time for the most important question? What color? There are so many amazing ways to go this spring, here are a few ideas.
First, I love the coral trends, from gloss to nail polish. This pallet is all the rage this season. Match your fingers and toes for a fun summer splash of color that goes with any outfit.
Ditch the dark colors this summer and look to lighten up your favorite winter hues. Use a navy, instead of a black or if you really can’t live without the dark tones, aim for a nice matte grey. These colors look tidy and professional, while still emanating color.
And last but not least, my favorite trend. GO WILD! Aim for a fun neon or a crazy teal. Match your bikini and nail color! Wear the colors you love, but you don’t dare put in an outfit. No matter what the season, you will always find me rocking some crazy shade of blue; however, I do follow one cardinal rule. If you are going to use a crazy color, keep it on your feet. You absolutely do not want to look like you are taking it back to the sixth grade with your Maurice’s bought polish all over your fingers. Buff the nails or use a nude color, allowing the nail polish on your toes to alert people that you are fun, but you are also professional.
Eventually, I hope, the weather will warm up in this city, but until then, spice up your nail routine. Here’s hoping’ for some sunshine!
