Two years.
The past two years have been fun. They’ve been interesting. They’ve been filled with new friends, and people who I now know I could never be friends with. Two years of laughs, jokes, van driving, water bottle buying, and crafty runs. Years where at times I wanted to scream from the rooftop of 1010 Wilshire. Two years that introduced me to some of the most amazing, caring and big-hearted people.
But there comes a time when fun, interesting, and Bruce’s Catering just doesn’t cut it anymore. Two years later I am ready. I am ready for the next group of people to make their mark in this life I have created in LA. A job that makes me want to scream from a new rooftop.
My time at the Style Network has come to an end.
My time on the show How Do I Look? has run its course.
My time on that Hollywood and Highland stage telling jokes has sadly ended.
My time at 5757 Wilshire…done.
My walkie checks over and out.
And I am nervous. I am excited. I am anxious. But yet, I am prepared.
I must remember that I’m quitting a job. Not a life. Not a family. It’s a job.
So here is to new jobs and new experiences. Here’s to never forgetting this family that HDIL? has created. I look forward to working with all of you again.
Two years…boy does time fly.
xoxo,
mel
